The World’s Most Iconic Squash Tournament Adds Sprott as Title Sponsor and Crowd Street as Presenting Sponsor
The Tournament of Champions (ToC) enters a new era by welcoming Sprott Inc. as Title Sponsor and adding Crowd Street as its Presenting Sponsor. The world’s most iconic squash tournament, newly dubbed the “Sprott Tournament of Champions Presented by Crowd Street,” returns to New York City’s Grand Central Terminal for its twenty-eighth presentation, January 22-29, 2026.
The 2026 Sprott Tournament of Champions Presented by Crowd Street will feature top-level PSA World Tour Platinum draws for Men and Women with $478,000 of equal prize money on offer.
“We are incredibly pleased to become the title sponsor of this prestigious event,” said Whitney George, CEO, Sprott Inc. “The Tournament of Champions represents excellence, resilience and world-class athletic achievement, qualities that mirror Sprott’s own commitment to leadership in precious metals and critical materials investing. We’re proud to support this tournament that continues to elevate the sport as it heads toward its Olympic debut.”
Sprott, a global asset manager focused on precious metals and critical materials investments, joins squash’s shared pursuit of precious medals as the sport prepares for its debut at the LA28 Games.
“Sprott has been an enthusiastic supporter of the urban squash movement in the United States and we are very excited about the sport’s future,” added Mike Ferreira, a StreetSquash board member, former Squash Doubles Association World #3 and Sprott Director of Family Office Relations. “It is a great honor for our brand to be aligned with this incredible event in New York City.”
“Today begins a new era for the Tournament of Champions,” said John Nimick, Tournament Chairman and Owner. “In the tournament’s 90th year, we are delighted to welcome two top sponsors dedicated to seeing the ToC lead the sport towards LA28 and beyond. We’ve struck gold with Sprott Inc., and Crowd Street will join us to bring the great story of squash to the public.”
Crowd Street, a private market investment platform enabling members to achieve their financial goals by providing direct access to investment opportunities, will join the roster of New York City-based industry leaders supporting a New York institution that is the ToC. As the popularity of squash continues to grow, as well as increased interest in private market access, Crowd Street and ToC will serve as trusted partners to fans searching for new ways to achieve untapped opportunity.
“Crowd Street is proud to support the Tournament of Champions at Grand Central, a place where storied tradition meets new possibilities,” said John Imbriglia, CEO of Crowd Street. “Squash’s evolution into a more inclusive, global sport mirrors the transformation we’re driving in the private markets, where individual investors now have greater access than before. Supporting programs like StreetSquash, Squash Education Alliance and CitySquash reflects our belief that when more people get a chance to step in, more potential is unlocked: in sport, in communities, and in investing.”
Sprott and Crowd Street join longstanding ToC sponsor Lexington Partners at the top of the sponsor roster, while Financial Times, Oracle NetSuite, NBCUniversal, and Options Group continue their high level support. The Sprott Tournament of Champions Presented by Crowd Street is produced by Squash Engine, Inc., the worldwide leader in major squash event promotion.
